Welcome to Arrest Stories. California rapper Geechi Gotti was arrested in Butler County, Ohio after police discovered nearly three thousand stolen opioid pills during a traffic stop that turned into a brief chase. Here's what may have happened.
On February fifth, twenty twenty-six, West Chester police conducted a traffic stop on Interstate seventy-five involving a rental vehicle driven by Marcus Fantry, a California-based rapper known as Geechi Gotti. The routine stop quickly escalated when officers discovered a large quantity of pharmaceutical drugs inside the vehicle.
According to police reports, the traffic stop was short-lived as the suspects attempted to flee. Geechi Gotti and three other men bailed out of the rental vehicle one exit south near the Streets of West Chester. Officers immediately pursued the fleeing suspects on foot.
"Get down on the ground right now! Get down on the ground! I will shoot you. Get your hands in the air!" officers commanded during the arrest, according to police recordings.
All four suspects were apprehended within minutes of fleeing the vehicle. Upon searching the rental car, officers discovered approximately three thousand opioid pills including oxycodone, morphine, and Vicodin, all classified as Schedule One and Two controlled substances.
"There was a large amount of pharmaceuticals in the car that looked like came straight from a pharmacy," an investigating officer stated.
The investigation revealed the drugs originated from multiple pharmacy break-ins throughout Ohio. "The drugs that were found were from a pharmacy called the Medicine Shoppe in Bellevue, Ohio. We believe cash was found as well that was taken from a pharmacy in Perrysburg, Ohio," police reported.
Officers estimated the street value of the seized pharmaceuticals at over ten to fifteen thousand dollars. Along with Geechi Gotti, the other arrestees were identified as Anthony Ellison, Lequan Miller, and Tyrus Crew, all from California.
The arrests stemmed from an ongoing investigation into pharmacy thefts across multiple Ohio jurisdictions. Police seized the rental vehicle and all pharmaceutical evidence for further investigation.
All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
