CHEER COACH BUSTED WITH FAKE CHARGER HIDING DARK SECRET

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A former cheerleading coach in El Paso County faces serious charges after allegedly using a disguised recording device to secretly film individuals without their consent in areas where privacy was expected.

Here's what may have happened.

Christopher Sotelo, who worked as a tumbling coach for the Texas Bandits All-Stars cheerleading organization, was arrested this past Saturday on charges of invasive visual recording. According to official reports, Sotelo allegedly used unauthorized recording equipment disguised as a portable charger to secretly record members of the organization without their knowledge or consent.

The disturbing discovery was made by the Texas Bandits All-Stars organization, who immediately took action upon finding the concealed recording device. Team officials confirmed that detectives verified the nature of the equipment before any further steps were taken.

In a statement to parents and families, the organization revealed, "It is with a heavy heart, we are writing to inform you all of a deeply concerning situation; we removed an individual from the organization following the discovery of unacceptable behavior involving unauthorized recording equipment."

The team wasted no time in reporting the matter to law enforcement and cooperating fully with the investigation. Officials emphasized, "We DID press charges which led to his arrest" and confirmed "We did receive authorization from law enforcement to disclose this, as the individual was finally located and arrested."

Sotelo was immediately terminated from his position and removed from the organization. He was booked into El Paso County Jail on Saturday but released the same day after posting a surety bond totaling thirty thousand dollars for two separate charges, with each charge carrying a fifteen thousand dollar bond.

Legal experts explain the charges, stating "A person commits this offense if he or she photographs, records, or broadcasts a person's intimate areas in a space that has the reasonable expectation of privacy, such as a bathroom or a changing room, without the victim's consent."

The organization stressed that "The safety and privacy of athletes and families remain our programs top priority. We have zero tolerance for conduct that compromises trust and security."

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
