FLORIDA WOMANS ARREST BEGAN WITH FLYING COLLARD GREENS

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A fifty-eight-year-old Florida woman was arrested after allegedly throwing collard greens and threatening victims with kitchen items during a domestic altercation. Here's what may have happened.

On Monday night at nine fifteen p.m., deputies responded to a report of an altercation at a home in Satsuma, located in Putnam County, Florida. The incident involved Wendy Leigh Messer and two victims during what police described as an argument about an unknown topic.

According to police reports, Messer threw a whole plate of collard greens at one victim during the heated exchange. The situation escalated when Messer allegedly threatened to use a knife against the first victim. Deputies reported that Messer then approached a second victim while holding a cast-iron skillet in a threatening manner, indicating she would use the kitchen item as a weapon.

During the confrontation, Messer swung her hand close to the first victim's face, narrowly missing her nose according to the police report. The physical altercation prompted the call to law enforcement.

When deputies arrived at Messer's residence and placed her under arrest Monday night, she reached for her pocket during the arrest process. Upon searching Messer, deputies discovered what they identified as cocaine in her possession.

Messer was transported to Putnam County Jail where she was booked at one twelve a.m. on Tuesday morning. When confronted about the substance found during her arrest, Messer told deputies, "These aren't my pants."

The fifty-eight-year-old woman faces multiple charges including battery, aggravated assault, and possession of cocaine stemming from the Monday evening incident. The charges relate to her alleged actions of throwing food, making threats with weapons, and the discovery of illegal substances during her arrest.

The case involves domestic-related charges following what began as an argument between three individuals at the Satsuma residence.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
