FORMER PRINCE ANDREW ARRESTED OVER ONE FIVE-MINUTE EMAIL FORWARD

Welcome to Arrest Stories. Former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested on his sixty-sixth birthday in connection with his relationship to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Here's what may have happened.

On Thursday morning, February nineteenth, twenty twenty-six, Thames Valley Police officers arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor at eight a.m. at the king's private retreat in Sandringham, Norfolk. The arrest occurred on suspicion of misconduct in public office related to his close relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

The specific allegation centers on accusations that Mountbatten-Windsor shared confidential trade information with Epstein during his time serving as Britain's special envoy for international trade. According to police reports, emails released as part of the Epstein files appeared to show Mountbatten-Windsor sharing reports of official visits to Hong Kong, Vietnam and Singapore with the convicted sex offender.

Police are conducting searches at two addresses connected to the former prince. Officers searched Royal Lodge at Windsor in Berkshire, which had been Mountbatten-Windsor's home since two thousand three, and Wood Farm on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.

The misconduct charge relates to what officials describe as serious willful abuse or neglect of the power or responsibilities of the public office held. Documents suggest that in November twenty ten, Mountbatten-Windsor forwarded a confidential email just five minutes after receiving it, and throughout twenty ten sent multiple confidential trade reports to Epstein.

Mountbatten-Windsor was released approximately eleven hours after his detention with no charges filed, though he remains under investigation. Following his release, he stated, As this process continues, it would not be right for me to comment further on this matter. My family and I will continue in our duty and service to you all.

The National Police Chiefs' Council has established a national coordinating group for local police forces investigating Epstein-related claims, working with overseas law enforcement agencies regarding millions of documents released by the Justice Department.

Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal title last year over his friendship with Epstein.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
