LANDLORDS HORRIFYING DISCOVERY: BODIES FOUND WRAPPED IN CLOSET

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A thirty-nine-year-old Pennsylvania woman faces multiple homicide charges after a landlord made a horrifying discovery while cleaning out a property - the remains of four infants allegedly killed by their own mother over a six-year period. Here's what may have happened.

Jessica Marie Mauthe now sits behind bars without bail following her arrest in Cadogan Township on charges of criminal homicide, involuntary manslaughter, and abuse of a corpse. The shocking case began unfolding on August fourteenth when Mauthe was evicted from her rental property for non-payment. Former landlord Brent Flanigan changed the locks on August thirtieth and began the grim task of cleaning out the abandoned residence.

On September thirteenth, Flanigan made a discovery that would haunt him forever. While cleaning out an upstairs bedroom closet, he found a trash bag emitting a foul odor. Inside, wrapped in towels, were the decomposing remains of an infant. The horror didn't end there. A search of the home's attic revealed three more infant bodies, each carefully wrapped in towels and plastic bags, stored inside tote bags.

According to police reports, Mauthe allegedly birthed all four children alive in her home over six years, then killed them immediately after birth. In disturbing detail, she reportedly admitted to holding one infant "against her, where it remained until it stopped making noises and stopped breathing." Another tragic incident occurred when she gave birth on the floor, heard the baby whimper, then passed out. Upon awakening, she discovered the infant was no longer breathing.

The arrest affidavit was issued on September eighteenth. Neighbors expressed shock at the revelations. One resident stated, "Shocked. No one believed it. It's just evil." Another neighbor, struggling to process the news, said, "How can you plop babies in the toilet? The girl across from here is a nurse, and she's sick. She almost didn't go to work because she can't get this off her mind."

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
