MAN ARRESTED FOR ROBBING THE SAME BANK TWICE

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A forty-three-year-old man was arrested in Fort Worth after allegedly attempting to rob the same bank he targeted nearly a decade ago. Here's what may have happened.

On Thursday morning around ten a.m., Christopher McKay walked into a Wells Fargo bank located in the eight thousand eight hundred block of Camp Bowie West Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas. According to police reports, McKay claimed he was armed with a handgun and demanded money from bank employees.

The attempted robbery did not go as planned for McKay. He was unsuccessful in obtaining any cash from the financial institution and fled the scene on foot without taking anything. Officers immediately responded to the area and began searching for the suspect.

Law enforcement located McKay nearby and placed him under arrest shortly after the failed heist attempt. During the arrest process, police noted McKay's condition required medical attention. An ambulance was notified as the suspect was going through fentanyl withdrawals, according to officials.

This incident marks a troubling pattern for McKay, who authorities say robbed this exact same bank location approximately nine years ago. He was previously arrested, convicted, and served prison time for that earlier bank robbery before being released.

The current case involves charges of aggravated robbery. McKay walked into the bank on Thursday claiming he had a handgun and threatened employees while demanding money, but his heist attempt failed completely. He left the bank empty-handed and on foot before officers swarmed the area and apprehended him.

The Wells Fargo branch targeted in both the recent attempt and the previous successful robbery nine years ago remains the same location on Camp Bowie West Boulevard. McKay's bond information and court date have not yet been released by authorities.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
