Welcome to Arrest Stories. A fifty-five-year-old massage parlor employee in Fort Walton Beach was arrested after allegedly becoming aggressive during a health inspection and attempting an unusual method to evade arrest. Here's what may have happened.
On Tuesday, officers responded to the Palms of Emerald Coast Massage Parlor on Beal Parkway around noon following a report of battery on a Department of Health employee. Fang Wang, a fifty-five-year-old employee at the massage parlor, was conducting business when a DOH inspector arrived to perform a routine inspection of the facility.
According to police reports, Wang became upset during the inspection process and started yelling at the health department employee. The situation escalated when Wang allegedly tried to force the inspector out of the business premises. Officers were called to the scene to address the disturbance.
When law enforcement arrived and attempted to detain Wang, she allegedly engaged in what officers described as defecating toward officers in an attempt to avoid being arrested. Police stated Wang was defecating towards officers to evade arrest during the detention process.
This incident was part of ongoing investigations at the location. According to authorities, this investigation was a follow up in relation to a search warrant previously served on this location when it was under the name Blue Bay Massage and Spa, New Magnolia Spa, and Classy Spa, where Wang was present during each investigation.
Wang was ultimately taken into custody and charged with resisting an officer. She is being held without bond following her arrest on Tuesday. The Department of Health employee who was conducting the routine inspection was reportedly the victim of the alleged battery that prompted the initial police response.
The Palms of Emerald Coast Massage Parlor has been the subject of multiple law enforcement investigations under various business names, with Wang present during previous encounters with authorities.
