SHOTS FIRED AT ABC NEWS STATION - SUSPECT ARRESTED IN SHOCKING ATTACK

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A sixty-four-year-old Sacramento man has been arrested after allegedly firing three shots into a local ABC television station in what police are calling a drive-by shooting that occurred just one day after protests at the same location. Here's what may have happened.

On Friday afternoon around one thirty, gunshots shattered the calm at KXTV ABC Ten's building on Four Hundred Broadway in Sacramento. According to police reports, Anibal Hernandezsantana allegedly fired at least three rounds from a vehicle into the station's lobby window, creating multiple bullet holes in the glass. Remarkably, while the building was occupied at the time of the shooting, no one was physically injured.

The timing of this incident has raised eyebrows among investigators. The shooting occurred just one day after protesters had gathered outside the same ABC affiliate over Jimmy Kimmel's suspension, though authorities have not definitively linked the two events.

Station officials quickly confirmed the attack, stating "We can confirm that shots were fired into our station at KXTV earlier today. While details are still limited, importantly all of our employees are safe and unharmed. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement and have taken additional measures to ensure the continued safety of our employees."

Police investigators moved swiftly, identifying a suspect vehicle that led them to a residence in the fifty-four hundred block of Carlson Drive in Sacramento's River Park neighborhood. Working alongside FBI resources, law enforcement arrested Hernandezsantana at the location.

A neighbor who witnessed the arrest described the dramatic scene, saying "We made eye contact. And right as he passed my windshield, I heard on a loudspeaker a whole bunch of officers say, 'Get down on the ground or we're going to shoot.'"

Hernandezsantana faces charges including assault with a deadly weapon, negligent discharge of a firearm, and shooting into an occupied building. His bail was set at two hundred thousand dollars, though he was reportedly released from jail before the end of the day.

Police emphasize that "The motive remains under investigation, and we would like to thank the FBI for providing resources in support of this investigation."

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
