Welcome to Arrest Stories,
A 57-year-old man's Instagram posts sent shockwaves across the country, leaving authorities scrambling to intervene before a potential disaster unfolded.
Trent Schneider's Instagram feed became a digital time bomb, as he repeatedly posted a video stating he would 'execute' President Trump.
Here's what may have happened.
On October thirty-first, two thousand twenty-four, Trent Schneider, a 57-year-old man from Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, began posting a series of disturbing videos on his Instagram account. The first video, posted on October thirty-first, two thousand twenty-four, at three fifteen PM, showed Schneider stating that President Trump 'should be executed.' Over the next five days, Schneider repeatedly posted the same video and caption approximately eighteen times, leaving authorities and concerned citizens on high alert.
As the posts continued to flood social media, a concerned citizen in Florida spotted the threatening video and reported it to law enforcement on October thirty-first, two thousand twenty-four. The authorities immediately launched an investigation, monitoring Schneider's online activity and gathering evidence.
On October thirty-first, two thousand twenty-four, Schneider also shared a cartoon image of President Trump roughly twenty times on Instagram, between September twenty-six and October twenty-first, two thousand twenty-five. The image included a threatening message, stating that President Trump 'should be executed' due to a house auction scheduled for November fourth, two thousand twenty-five.
As the investigation unfolded, authorities discovered that Schneider had posted a video stating he would 'get guns' and 'take care of business' himself. In a chilling quote, Schneider was recorded saying, "I'm going to get some guns. I know where I can get a lot of f------ guns and I am going to take care of business myself." The same quote was repeated multiple times, leaving authorities with no doubt about Schneider's intentions.
On Monday, authorities conducted a SWAT raid on Schneider's residence in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, and apprehended the 57-year-old man. Schneider appeared in federal court on Monday afternoon and was scheduled for a detention hearing on Thursday.
All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
