A 30-year-old man fled the scene of a violent domestic incident and vanished from Loudoun County, leaving police to hunt him down as an armed and dangerous suspect.

The incident took place in Aldie, Virginia, specifically in the 41000 block of Conejo Way. Police identified the suspect as Christian De Jesus Santiago, a 30-year-old resident of Woodbridge. On November 1, 2026, deputies responded to a 911 hang-up call where a woman could be heard yelling in the background. Authorities allege that Santiago assaulted his wife before fleeing the scene before deputies arrived. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Santiago fled the area and was no longer in Loudoun County by the time the extensive search concluded. Law enforcement described him as armed and dangerous and urged the public not to approach him. Detectives made contact with Santiago late Sunday evening and took him into custody without incident. He is formally charged with domestic assault and battery, abduction, and preventing a 911 call. Santiago is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The investigation was handled by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.
