Wednesday morning became a nightmare for one family when Shaniece Willingham allegedly carried out a horrific plan that authorities say was captured on social media. According to official reports, the incident began after Willingham had an argument with her children's father over the phone, followed by a dispute at her parents' home.

After leaving her parents' residence with her children, Willingham reportedly posted videos to her Instagram stories expressing her intent to harm herself and her children. In what officials described as her "last goodbye," she told viewers she "could not take it anymore" and believed her children "would be safe with God" because "no one can take care of them."

The timeline shows that at approximately one twenty-eight Wednesday morning, Willingham loaded her three children into a wagon and walked to the neighborhood community pool. She then lifted each child over the locked pool fence to gain access to the secured area. Once inside, she reportedly tied the children together using rope from a poolside life-saving ring.

Authorities state that Willingham FaceTimed her mother to say she loved her before throwing all three children into the pool water. She then jumped in and allegedly held the children underwater in what officials called a deliberate attempt to kill them and herself.

Family members who had seen the disturbing Instagram videos rushed to the scene and pulled the children from the water, saving their lives. Deputies responded and arrested Willingham.

During court proceedings, officials stated this was "nothing short of horrific" and "a deliberate act of cruelty." The judge found probable cause for three counts of attempted first-degree murder, noting that "no conditions of release or bail will reasonably protect the community." Willingham remains held without bond.
