Welcome to Arrest Stories.

An 18-year-old boy allegedly stabbed his girlfriend, then drove her body across town before authorities discovered the truth.

Here's what may have happened.

The incident occurred in California Borough and North Strabane Township in Washington County, Pennsylvania. Police have identified the suspect as 18-year-old Royce Moser. Authorities allege that on August 19, Moser met with victim Karoline Heintz at his residence in North Strabane. Police say Moser stabbed Heintz in the chest with a large knife at the house. After the stabbing, police allege Moser placed Heintz's body in the back hatch of her Jeep Cherokee. Moser then drove the vehicle to his mother's house in Beallsville, where he and his mother attempted to clean bloodstains from clothes and the car. They subsequently drove the Jeep to a parking lot near the California Public Library and abandoned the vehicle. Family members tracked the vehicle using an AirTag and alerted police, who found Heintz's body inside the hatch early on August 20. Royce Moser and his mother, Rachel Moser, were taken into custody in Beallsville and later processed at the Pennsylvania State Police station. Moser is formally charged with criminal homicide, tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse, conspiracy to commit abuse of a corpse, obstruction of justice, and conspiracy to commit tampering with evidence. The Pennsylvania State Police are handling the investigation. All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts.
