Welcome to Arrest Stories. A well-known soap opera actress was arrested in Naples, Florida, following a parking lot crash that a witness says she tried to walk away from. Heres what may have happened.

On May fifteenth, two thousand twenty six, at seven thirty five in the evening, Colleen Zenk, best known for her long-running role as Barbara Ryan on As the World Turns and more recently for her role as Jordan Howard on The Young and the Restless, was booked by the Collier County Sheriffs Office in Naples, Florida. She was charged with two misdemeanors, DUI resulting in damage to property or person of another, and DUI with a blood alcohol level of zero point one five or higher, which is above the legal limit of zero point zero eight. Each charge carried a one thousand dollar bond.

According to records from the Collier County Sheriffs Office and the County Clerks Office, a witness observed Zenk backing out of a handicap parking spot when her vehicle struck another vehicle parked next to it. The witness claimed that Zenk continued to back out after the crash and began to leave the scene. Zenk was stopped a few feet down the road. The witness alleged that Zenk stumbled as she exited her vehicle.

A DUI investigation then commenced. The arresting officer noted that Zenk stated she had been at Bar Tulia, where she said she had two wine cups. Zenk agreed to perform field sobriety exercises. During the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus exercise, the officer stated that Zenks eyes made rapid, repetitive and uncontrollable side to side movements when the tip of my pen reached an approximate forty five degree angle with her face.

During the Walk and Turn exercise, the officer observed that Zenk was unable to maintain her arms against her body as I told her to do, and that she took more than the nine steps I explained to her to take going forward and then nine more coming back on the line. During the One Leg Stand exercise, the officer stated Zenk was swaying so much that I thought she was going to fall to the ground.

Zenk provided two breath samples. The first yielded a blood alcohol content of zero point two zero six and the second zero point one nine two. She bonded out on May sixteenth, two thousand twenty six. Through her attorney, Zenk pled not guilty. A continuance is scheduled for July twenty ninth, two thousand twenty six, for pre-trial. This marks Zenks third DUI arrest, following prior arrests on April first, two thousand ten, in Wilton, Connecticut, and May twenty eighth, two thousand seventeen, in Collier County.
