Welcome to Arrest Stories.

A 41-year-old teacher and coach opened his front door completely naked to police in Titusville, Florida, but then slammed it shut and refused to cooperate.

Here's what may have happened.

The incident took place in the 2100 block of Knox McRae Drive in Titusville. On October 24, witnesses reported seeing a man standing naked in his doorway and touching himself, prompting a call to law enforcement. Responding officers observed Samson nude when he opened the door of his residence. Samson allegedly closed the door and did not return outside despite multiple announcements from law enforcement. Police collected witness statements and cellphone video of the incident during their investigation. Justin Samson is a teacher and coach at Burns Science and Technology Charter School in Oak Hill, Florida. Following the arrest, school officials placed Samson on administrative leave pending a review. A spokesperson for the school stated the incident happened off campus and there is no indication any students or minors were involved. Police say Samson engaged in lewd behavior and exposed himself to the public. He is formally charged with exposure of sexual organs under Florida statute 800.03. A judge set his bond at $2,000 and prohibited him from having contact with anyone younger than 18 years old. The Titusville Police Department handled the investigation. All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts.
