On Friday evening, September eighteenth, a peaceful Buckhead neighborhood on Tuxedo Court turned tragic when four large Cane Corso dogs roamed freely through the area. According to police reports, the owner of Henry, a small Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, let his pet outside at ten oh two p.m. for a routine bathroom break. Just five minutes later, he discovered Henry's lifeless body in the driveway.

Security camera footage captured the horrifying sequence of events, showing Gibson's four dogs running toward Henry's home. The small dog was found covered in slobber with blood on his left side, separated and broken ribs on his right side, light puncture marks on his stomach, and severe internal bleeding. Video evidence also showed the dogs scratching at a door across the street minutes before the deadly attack.

This wasn't an isolated incident. Police records indicate Gibson's dogs had been spotted running loose more than five times over the previous months. Gibson had received an official warning on September seventh regarding his animals. One neighbor reported being trapped in her home, unable to reach her car because the four Cane Corsos blocked her door, requiring animal control escort to her vehicle.

Gibson was away from his residence during the attack. Through his representative, he stated he "extends his deepest condolences to the family who lost their beloved dog to this tragic incident." He reportedly told authorities he "admitted that he believes his dogs killed Henry and that he knows it's been an ongoing issue over the past few months with his dogs getting out."

The forty-six-year-old actor was booked into Fulton County Jail on animal cruelty charges with bond set at twenty thousand dollars. The four dogs have since been rehomed.
