A Hannibal, Missouri, woman is facing charges after police say she sold items over Facebook, pocketed the money, and never sent the items.

Amanda L. Stuart, 40, was arrested on Thursday for deceptive business practices and stealing.

The arrest came after a lengthy investigation that started over a complaint from a Louisiana resident.

The complainant said Stuart was selling items on Facebook and never sending the product after the payment was made.

After an extensive investigation, detectives found more than 30 victims across the county.

Stuart remains in the Marion County Jail on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
