Welcome to Arrest Stories.

A masked suspect terrorized a city early in the morning, but did he really think he could outrun the law?

Here's what may have happened.

Authorities are identifying the suspect as Zymire Hughes. The incidents took place in Center City Philadelphia near City Hall. On August 12, police say Hughes wore a Chucky-style mask and approached at least six people. He allegedly chased victims while shouting questions about their readiness to die. One woman jogging near City Hall was severely injured while trying to escape. After the attacks, Hughes packed his bags and left Philadelphia. He flew from New Jersey to Orlando and then traveled to Las Vegas. U.S. Marshals arrested Hughes at an apartment complex in southeast Las Vegas. He is charged with terroristic threats, harassment, and simple assault. Additional charges include intimidation, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment. All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts.
